Exporting Contacts via ActiveSync?

Does anyone know how to get ActiveSync to import contacts from your phone to Outlook? I just got a new Blackjack, which has a bunch of contacts pulled from my shitty AudioVox 8910 (may it burn forever for it's transgressions). I have no trouble syncing with my Outlook contacts, but I've no idea how to get it to go the other way.

I thought the sync's went both ways? You should be able to break the partnership by deleting the handheld then set it up again. When it sees the "new" handheld has data have it merge instead of overwriting.

Hmm, I just noticed that some of the contacts on my phone synced with ActiveSync. All of the 'Check Bill Balance' stuff, anyway. It doesn't look like any of my contacts I imported from my Audiovox 8910 made the cut, however.
So syncing is working fine, but it's skipping these ones. Why?
