Seriously they are talking about it on Science Friday right now. Science Friday is a cool NPR show that comes on on...Fridays.

Hosted by Ira Flatow, it is seriously the bomb diggity. I mean look at that guy. He is ready to talk about science and also maybe your mom's nice figure. The show covers lots of different subjects, but stays relatively relevant to current science news, which is really helpful.

Radio Lab is a really, really, seriously awesome radio show/podcast that I love more than most things in this world. Hosted by Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich. Just pick any show from their free podcast archive and I promise that you will not regret it.

Let's talk about other cool science programs that we can get into.

If you want to talk about lasers or atoms or also laser tweezers, that is also ok.

look, no one knows how to spell Tweezers, it's a scientific dilemma that our top men are working on.

    twiizers

    tweazers

    tweesers

    tweizers

No one fucking knows, maybe we will never know. But we will catch atoms with them.

I never saw Beakman's world. But I know nothing can beat Bill Nye's theme song.

if not more than a little accurate. i remember one of the early astronauts saying "yeah, i'm sitting on top of a controlled explosion, but i want to steer."

I dunno, I don't think that's disrepectful. If anything it's saying they had balls of steel to do this.

this is true. i'm not too fond of the implication either. tell a nurse sometime she's a glorified waitress. the negative connotation will become quickly apparent.

then again, if i'm the rocket jockey, they can talk aaaaall day. i'm the one going into spaaaaaaace while they do their little program.

Although it was before my time, I will concede Mr. Wizard's World, because it is maybe the most popular kids science show ever. But I refuse to believe Bill Nye can be anything less than second place.

    SCIENCE RULES.
