Printer Problems

I have an HP C4280 all-in-one printer/copier/scanner. Just recently it has decided to stop being useful. The last few times I've tried to print a word/PDF document, the only thing I get is a blank page with the footers, page number, or graphic. I don't get any...substance. Text is what I desire. Do I need to update the drivers? What's going on?

Yeah, I'd start with updating the drivers. That's kind of a specific problem, so I'd check through the troubleshooting guide - and print off a test sheet. If the test sheet comes out wonky, it should be easy enough to troubleshoot right then and there.
Or, you can always *gulp* try HP's tech support. If its a problem they've seen before, they can fix it pretty quick. But if it isn't... in my experience, its better not to try and deal with them when they don't know whats going on.

A quick google search came up with this
    Try that first.
