itt: unusual "sports"

So i was surfing youtube and saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96OljGZapv4&mode=related&search=

So what odd new sports have any of you invented/heard of.

My contribution: The cup-check relay. It's pretty much your standard relay race, but instead of passing a baton, you smack the next guy in the sack. Then he has to try to run to the next guy and do the same. Winning team gets to kick the other team in the nads.

    Okay I watched the clip.

As far as I know, legally, that clip has to be either fake or completely illegal.

I know he hasn't stolen anything but:

    1. You can't film in a mall like that without permission from the owners.

    2. There are waaay too many cameras getting him from different angles and different times and the quality on them is too high to be hidden ones, at least that this guy would be able to afford.

    3. I'm sure every western country has a version of the "disturbing the peace" law don't they?

    4. He couldn't show it on tv like this after if he really did all that and got away with it--unstaged. Especially since all of those people, even the ones in the background, would have to sign their permission to be filmed.

    1. is true but getting permission is easy and they don't have to inform idividual stores.

    2. its not really THAT hard if they plan out a route, which if you were to do this for real you SHOULD do.

    3. If the mall agreed to this ahead of time they are kind of off the hook, as it were.

    4. signing press releases only applies when the company showing your likeness stands to gain from it, in this case, being some schmuck walking in a mall does not warrant a press release. not to mention none of their faces were very clear. HOWEVER the security guards probably DID sign release forms since they are part of the videos focus. Also, they probably did this in 15 different stores before they got those 3 they used, so I imagine SOME people didn't sign releases.

at any rate, speaking as someone who has worked in the film and television industry, it's completely plausible, though it could also be completely staged.

In college we had "scooter jousting"

We would get those stupid razr scooters and take hockey sticks with pillows duct taped to the end and ride towards each other down the dorm hallway at high speed. We also duct taped pillows to our chest but I promise a hockey stick doesn't care how many pillows you have on, it's good at poking through.

It was ridiculously dangerous and many injuries were had, but all in good fun.

we played pretty normal nerd sports in college... Cross Campus CTF, Ultimate Frisbee, practical jokes, etc

I once got suckered into palying jenga drunk and the stakes were, if you knocked it over you had to strip and run down the hall naked, you were allow to bundle your clothes and holding them infront of your privates if you could

So here I am at 3am running down one of 2 floors in a co-ed honors dorm with one hand infront and one in back trying to get to my room door only to find my suitemate had locked the door on purpose as him and 6 others laughed their ass off. There was no good way of getting my keys out of my pocket which was currently wadded up and smashed against my junk so I turned around and ran back to the other room to get dressed.

I later was shown the pictures they took.

Sure a guy can cover his junk & ass pretty easily but the girls were lucky they weren't the one to lose.
