Is there a way to reverse HDTV burn-in?

My LCD HDTV has served me well for a few years, but I'm starting to get some noticeable burn-in on the screen, mostly from watching non-HD programming (I don't stretch SD programs to fill the screen as the messed up aspect ratio bugs the hell out of me). The dark patches and lines are really apparent during sporting events. Is there anything I can do to combat or reverse it? The TV is connected to my PS3, so I can display any kind of image you suggest. I'm tempted to just leave it displaying a white screen for a day or two, but I dunno if that would work, and am worried it would cause the opposite kind of damage.

Download a break-in DVD and run that. Also, check your settings. Your brightness and contrast may be jacked to hell.

Oh, and LCDs really don't have burn-in the same way a plasma does.

Turn it to a static channel. Let it sit for awhile.

On that note, if you have a way to run JScreenfix you might want to let it run overnight.
