alright so i've been making new friends and meeting new people

oh shit actually before i do that, this is the friendship thread, who you got friends with, types and all that shit

okay so my favorite type of friendship is comraderie

so for the past couple days i have been hanging out with an old finnish man, he does not speak much english

Retired orchestra conductor

anyway him and I built ikea furniture all day for the past couple days, gettin mad at the instructions together

he said the phrase ''ein bier pause, bitte'' with such gusto that I could not help but oblige over and over

basically him and i drink a lot and he listens to classical music or pop

and we drink often

    I broke my Skeletor in an epic battle at mount sandbox.

    Then for my birthday I got two battlecats and was going to trade one in for a new Skeletor so He-man could continue to defeat him but I saw a Man-E-Faces and couldnt pass up the opportunity.

    He is just too awesome!

    when i moved to Toronto last year, i had very few friends of my own

    mostly, i hung out with my fiancee's friends here, who i tried to befriend

    it's been tricky since we're not exactly compatible people and many of them drive me nuts

    recently, i ended up blowing up at one of them in anger and now a bunch of them won't talk to me and it caused a huge thing

    however

    i have started hanging out with some TO area forumers (Rolo, Choco, and Cass mostly) and that's been pretty good

    my roommate calls me her best friend and is really friendly which is awkward because she knows I want to bone her, but she's in a serious relationship with her boyfriend.

    at least I have my normal junior high friendship to fall back on, to play videogames with every night.
