Buying a Tablet

Hi first post on these boards. Fan of the comic, and the blog (normally not my speed, but this one's good enough for me)

Question: what should I look for in a Tablet?

I was recently introduced to a Bamboo Pen & Touch, and I like it. Its easier for me than inking by hand, faster, and I can get the finished product up online without worrying about scanning decay of the finished product. As someone who wants to do comics, this is a huge deal: getting them up online.

Ergo: Tablet.

However, what do I need to look for? How big is big enough?

What size, for example, are PA and Pvponline drawn using? And what is the current make/model of the tablet-in-use?

also: there isn't an answer in the thread FAQ, and this is more product discussion: apt to change over time, so a sticky answer will become outdated fast, right?
