The creature has not been burned by your weapon, and you are able to identify the creature. It is a beast from Welsh stories known as a Water Leaper, they are known for severing fishing lines and even devouring fishermen from time to time.

Edit: I just want to let you all know that I'm going to be running a real life game tomorrow, not Dresden File so don't worry I haven't strayed from you all. It will be keeping me busy most of the day though so I'll probably post in the afternoon and late evening.

Has James had any run ins with this fine peace officer before? Given his previous life of crime, James is familiar with most of the beat cops in the neighborhood.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that. I'm going to say...yes as a matter of fact he has. Your not on a first name basis though, it's Officer Perry to you as far as she is concerned.

I'm wondering, how visible is the stab I took from those critters? It's a deciding factor in wether I will attempt to leave quietly or go outside...

Well the wound isn't that bad in all honesty, if you try to conceal it you will almost certainly be able to do so.

Juliette most likely fed last night/early morning. She definitely didn't take a bite at the Stag, she might have if she hadn't been interrupted.

Would have been bad if she did, the Stag is neutral ground.

Well, not on the premises, obviously. There's no rule about convincing someone to step off of neutral ground to somewhere more private.

Has Officer Perry noticed me or the Doctor? (I know I've been quiet this whole time, but I'm not really going to volunteer any information just yet; not without being spoken to. )

Well I know the Doctor is still inside, I wasn't sure if Rey was playing hide and seek either so I assumed he was within too. So no Officer Perry hasn't noticed Rey or the Doctor yet.

Well I thought, and it's possible as always that I'm wrong, that James had carried the teens outside to the sidewalk and Juliette had followed him. At the moment neither the EMT or Officer Perry have been inside.

I guess I could roll Investigation, but I didn't pick that skill so I'm not sure it'd do much good... I think I'm just looking, and generally being careful.

If James disarms himself without a fight then he'll earn a Fate Point.

Juliette's Aspect: At War With My Mother
If Juliette refuses to give up her knife or attempts to smuggle it inside she'll earn herself an extra Fate Point.

Also apologies if my weird schedule is making posting difficult for any of you.

The book says the following:

The skills mainly used to attack in a social conflict are Deceit, Intimidation, and Rapport; those three and Empathy could all be used to make social maneuvers. Empathy and Rapport are most commonly used to defend. Social stress is tracked by Presence.

Dr. Meyer's could definitely do something to improve the situation. Presence is an option, as are any of the social skills that Dresdenphile listed off.
