Are there toys?
I've completed the four elephant sections, and I've unlocked the games and othe things...but no toy room thingy?
What gives?
I figured I'd check here first.
Random access to the river is postponed. Remember that all government motion is set standard by designated "re-dos" by the computer elitist. It's ridiculous, I'm ridiculous, and the only difference between you and me is that I can create gravity through gravy left-overs!

No, unlockables are pretty slim compared to the other games, which is a shame considering how awesome some of them would be with the Wiimote.
This was really dissapointing to hear about in reviews. Regardless, I already have a copy of the game (bought online with a gift card) on the way, where it will wait for my tax return and subsequent Wii purchase. I can't say no to Wario Ware.
I wish there was a ton of ridiculous unlockables like Twisted, but all the stuff in Smooth Moves is awesome. I genuinely enjoy all the stuff that's in Smooth Moves.
Except the game where you raise and lower flags...that sucks.

Not Red!Not Up!
I have yet to successfully complete a flag one.
Yeah, I played it like twice then went back to rocking out with Tower Tennis.
Seriously, the Tower Tennis song is one of my favorite songs ever in a game.
Seriously, it feels as if the game is only a quarter finished. Good thing the multiplayer is awesome. (I love bungee buddies.)
... what else were you guys expecting?
I'm not being sarcastic, I'm just genuinely confused why people are saying "Man, Wario Ware is so short," when the emphasis is entirely on replaying for high scores and playing until you pass out from being dizzy. If you're only playing each stage once, where you only play 10-15 games until you beat one boss encounter, and then never going back ... you're missing out on the meat of the game.
It's like saying "Man, Rez is sooooo short, it only takes an hour to beat the whole thing." Or "Man, Metal Slug? It gives you infinite continues, so it only took me 45 minutes to beat MS1. Such a waste."
[spoiler:4a2e8c80e7]It plays like a vetical schmup. You move Pyoro anywhere on the screen as it scrolls up. The little bugs come at you in rows, if you can attack them all at once you get a higher bonus score. There's a lot of little cool things that occurs as the game progresses , common to Pyoro. Overall, a really good Pyoro. Probably my 2nd favourite version (first being Pyoro 2 on the original Wario Ware)[/spoiler:4a2e8c80e7]
For instance, in previous WarioWares, you must first play the same guy over and over again to unlock all mini games. This isn't a problem with Smooth Moves because because there aren't very many mini games in comparison to past WarioWares.
Also in previous ones, you must beat each mini like friggen 30 times in a row to get a "flower" or whatever, for that mini game. Getting all flowers for one character took FOREVER, and then you got a sweet toy out of it.
There is *none* of that in Smooth Moves. I had unlocked everything in around 30 minutes.
And I've had 12 people over before for some massive multiplayer, and there is only so much of that before it gets old. :-\

I'm either playing a different game or you are some sort of Wario Ware god. Unlocking EVERYTHING in 30 minutes? That's a pretty fast pace of play. It took me about an hour of casual play to beat the game, and I still haven't really unlocked all the extra games (I'm missing a few here and there on some of the characters).
I think a couple people are making a big deal out of nothing.

...it took me more than 30 minutes to unlock everything. Wait, I haven't even unlocked everything T_T (just missing a blossom for everyone I guess so I can get this Pyoro I keep hearing about)
I didn't think the game was too long or too short, there's enough content keeping me entertained and I enjoyed it a lot more than Rayma's Raving Rabbids because of the sillier and (what I feel) better made multiplayer. Then again, this is the first WarioWare game I've ever played much less owned.

An hour is STILL too short to me, but it wouldve been acceptable considering it's a WarioWare game.
Adding little unlockables once you get a certain score in each stage, say 30, would have greatly extended the play time and would have been such a tiny thing.
That said I'm content with it, I feel multiplayer could have been so much better though.
I was really excited about this, but I have a couple friends with it and thus don't feel at all compelled to grab it. Touched kept me entertained for the longest time just trying to max out scores for individual mini-games and tinkering around with the easter eggs. Smooth Moves doesn't give me any of that--but I wouldn't have minded if multiplayer included more options. The console Wario Wares are supposed to be driven primarily by multiplayer but this game's is remarkably shallow. I have no problem with the games that are there, but god, they're devoid of options. It'd be nice if I got to pick particular sets of mini-games to cycle through with my friends, or got to play in a way that gave me more than three turns by the time it finished.
I'd have to agree that not being able to get high scores on each individual game really sucked the replay value out of it. That's what I loved about the other games, even though I was never able to do that in any other one than Microgames.

I think the main problem I have is with multiplayer. Deciding to only use 1 'mote play was a bad decision in my mind, since they really can't speed up the hand-offs too much, due to the wrist strap.

It's not needed. Noticed that "The Waiter" form, and "Drop it" were both removed from any multiplayer game?

The multiplayer is great, 10 player single-elimination is awesome.
What is it that people find so unappealing about the multiplayer?
....How do you even PLAY the multi???? It has a newspaper over the option. As soon as I go the game i wanted to sit down and blast through it with a few of my friends, but walked away incredibly frustrated not know HOW THE FUCK to even access it.

You have to unlock it through single player first, by beating [spoiler:df1766338c]Mini-Wario[/spoiler:df1766338c]
They do this so you don't get confused as fuck not knowing what the forms are and such in multi.
The only thing about it that bugs me is the Temple of Form. You know, where you replay the minigames you've gotten? It just runs through them three times, one for each level, all on one set speed. I wanted something like Twisted, where it gets faster and faster until you lose, like a high score challenge.
I think this game is a very good reason to buy the system. Not THE reason, but one of them.
The "final" dancing game (boss stage for mini Warios) is so much fun, and it's awesome as fuck in a party setting.
I agree that the one-wiimote thing was kind of sucky. It'd be appreciated as an option, certainly, but I'd also like to be able to just sit on my couch. We did a six-player survival game, and it was fun as hell, but we pretty much all had to stand and shuffle around all the time.
Seriously, I've played with my friends for an hour or two pretty much every night since release. There could be a couple more options or game modes or whatever, but what's in there is great.
Lots of people shitting on this game here. I really love it. Probably my favorite WarioWare game.
Just picked this one up today with a gift card, already loving the single player mode.
While it sucks that I can't go for high score challenges on each of the games (which was always one of the biggest parts of the originals), I'll at least be content to go for high scores on each individual character level, I 'spose.
Can't wait to try multi-player, though. Gotta bring this one to school to use on my friend's Wii, since we've got a house full of people there.

I seriously never heard of him before the minigame in Touched.
I promptly returned the game and demanded by money back.
As much as I LOL'ed, I must still say it's kind of a different experience.
I've never gotten tired of Tetris.
