The Pope Condems Video Game, Cartoon Violence

His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI gave lapsed Catholics one more reason to skip Church on Sunday by condemning video game and cartoon violence on Wednesday, taking a few lines from a certain Florida Lawyer we know all too well.

This is ironic considering there is a VeggieTales videogame on the market that is not very good which has pleanty of Cartoon Violence.

I guess if saving the Princess by slaying a few demons is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

To be fair, VeggieTales was created by Protestants...and according to the Pope we are going to hell anyway.

Yeah, well, they still sell that crap at the Catholic Supply store, right next to the Left Behind Video Game which is also really bad. What's next? Grand Excommuncation Auto: Palm Springs.

It's the Pope. Condeming violence is sort of what he does.
Im not saying he's right by doing this. But on a certain level, he has a point. Children have no business being exposed to things like that.

If Bugs Bunny is wrong then I don't want to be right.

Once again, JCM contributes invaluably to a thread.

This is three days old and has no real connection with comic books at all, so I'm going to go ahead and lock this.
