help me find a wordpress theme

Okay, so the wife and I are starting up some comic strips. We've also each have a blog currently. Basically we're looking for a good wordpress theme for the site that will be our main studio page. It will pretty much be there just to link to our other sites, and maybe eventually host a forum or podcast.

So basically xyz studio will link to comics abc and def, and will also probably host our combined blog for reviews and commentary, and eventually a forum or podcast.

I'd like a FREE wordpress theme that offers either two or three columns, and has an editable footer. (I have no problems linking to the creator of the theme, but some of the free theme mills have footers that are encoded and I don't feel right busting that encryption even if they're legally open source because they run on wordpress.)

Any help would be much appreciated, or any ideas on how to make it all come together a little better. I know that having multiple sites can be a pain in the ass for readers.

Thanks H/A

Comicpress (http://comicpress.org/) seems to be popular for comic strips. I use Atahuapla (http://wordpress.bytesforall.com/?cat=15) on my blag. You can take the footer off, but the creator likes it if you send him a little money via donation before you do.

    I'm 90% sure Comicpress is free. D:

    edit: Yep.

Sorry, I need to clarify. The comic sites are good to go. (I use stripShow instead of comicpress)

This for the hub site, like when kurtz and straub had toonhound studios that linked both of their sites, or like the transmission-x collective.

Thanks for the quick response though.

There are two themes that most people will recommend for a professional/semi-professional site: Atahuapla and Thesis.

    Atahuapla is the free one.
