Computer repaired, what game should I play first?

I've been out of commision since April (!) due to cooling system failure, multiple motherboard failures, and one system fire, but my computer is now finally repaired.

What game should I pick up first to break the fast?

    It really depends on your style. Starcraft 2 is quite robust. For free with friends, there's alien swarm. For turn-based strategy, there's civ 5. If you love a roguelike, dwarf fortress is always lovely. If you want to create/survive/whatever-else-you-do-in-minecraft, there's minecraft. Perhaps you want a solid RPG, I'd advise dragon age.

    Civ 5 is tons of fun, and if you have a lot of free time, it will consume it all and ask for more.
