Alright kids, listen up, because this comic book is some serious business. It's The Warriors done in day-glo, blood and neon.

Punk Rock Teenage Boy/Girl Street Gangs fight it out on Coney Island for control of the boardwalk and all the plunder within.

Best of all, you can read the entire first issue for free at Newsarama. This is the best comic being put out by Image that isn't Casanova, and I love it like I love Cupcake, my precious little kitten.

I wish that I was making this post as a plant, because that would mean that I was responsible for like the most punk rock radical comic being put out right now, but I'm just a huge fan. I urge any of you that aren't big sissy nerds to pick this up at your local comic book store, because it is the best and we need more comics like it.

    Classics are easier, but if you want some fancy new 3d one then that will cost you some groping.

    This looks pretty awesome. Never have I so much enjoyed seeing the color pink. I'll definitely pick up the trade when it comes out.

    Three issues have come out so far and I think that #4 might be shipping tommorow, although it's not on Image's site. I don't think I missed it.

    If you havent already check out Amazing Joy Buzzards. There are 2 Trades out collecting 4 issues each. The first trade is out ofprinting and I dont know when it will be reprinted.

    I got the first three issues of this the other day. It is all kinds of awesome. I love the pirates. Great bunch of characters. I like Knievel with his three gears of reverse.

    Issue Four was the FIGHT ISSUE and it was just as fun as the other three.

    I was actually wondering whatever happened to this series just a couple of days ago when I was bagging and boarding a shitload of comics and ran across a few issues. I do recall seeing the covers for the rest of the series being completed online but never saw the books hit the shelves. Rather disappointed. Might try to e-mail the artist/writer later today to see if I can get an answer.

    I've actually talked to both Rick Spears and Vasilis Lolos at various points in time, and they are both pretty awesome dudes. Let me know if you hear anything. :^:
