Group costume ideas

So my friends and I changed our Halloween plans at the last minute, and we're now going to voodoo fest in New Orleans so we want to dress up as a themed group. Obviously we are way behind to do this so we're frantically brainstorming ideas. We're willing to pay extra for shipping and whatnot to order online and get it by Friday as long as a) the idea is awesome and b) the idea isn't so overused the costumes may be sold out. We have 3 guys and 1 girl.

Ideas we are considering:
-Mario Bros characters
-Crazy tea party candidates or notables (Christine O'Donnell and Glenn Beck for example)
-Anchorman news team
-Ghostbusters+ghost

Ideas that are out:
-Cast of the Jersey Shore. Just... no.

    whoops can't read
i think anchorman group is good
simple and easy to put together
just make sure everyone has a distinctive prop or characteristic so people know whats going on (ie ron burgundy has to have a boner, conch or the dog, brick has to have a trident or lamp etc)

Oh one more idea that's out - Wizard of Oz, as two of us grew up in Kansas and can't take the references anymore.

Oh this is perfect... but I am apparently the only one who played left 4 dead since they all just "whozzawhat?!"

dlinfiniti, thanks, that was my idea :D and I love your suggestions! the only problem is, one guy thinks that was "so long ago" that no one will find the reference funny and it was overdone back then. Thoughts? How should I convince him?

Thanks for the great ideas keep em coming!

The music video in the spoiler may be NSFW for some people, and it is my preferred group costume.

Seriously, don't go click on it unless you're certain. It's youtube, but there are (non-nude) scenes from a strip club and cocaine depictions.

It's the fast-food masctos. Ronald, Jack, Colonel, King.

Also can add Wendy for the girl.

There are actual Jersey Shore Costumes (they use the official logo, but i don't know how official they are) in stores. Granted, it was just a long sleeve shirt essentially with abs on one, and tattooed arms on the other. The end times are near.

My ultimate Halloween idea: everyone dresses as a different version of Luke Skywalker. There are at least 10. Who will get to be bacta tank Luke?!?!?

I will say the same thing I said last year when a group costume thread popped up -

Get a few more people, and all of you dress up as important historical figures, and two of the dudes go as Bill and Ted.

My bf and I discussed something similar only with characters played by Jeff Bridges.

I've seen groups do the following with success:

    - The Addams Family
    - X-Men
    - The Office

This year some people I know are doing the characters from 'Community' too, but I think that's more because they have the right mix of races and ages.

For added Halloweeniness, go as The Office characters in their Halloween costumes.
