So I want to get a job so I can earn some cash so I can get hookers and blow and back to college. I live in NYC so it's a bit difficult to find any decent jobs, period, but the general idea is I want to start working ASAP, and get to a really good job (like bartending, which I have experience in) which will pay enough that I can save and go to community, then grab scholarships/hardship shit/loans and head to a real school. What I'm asking for essentially is help creating a plan that gets me from Job A, shitty crap job, to job B, not so crap job, to job C, job I'll really like and pays above average.
Here's my experience:
7 months, Deli Clerk.
2 months, political worker
1.5 years hotel front desk agent, Marriott
1 year hotel bartender catering to businessmen and events
2 months, political worker
Crew Leader (assistant manager basically) for the U.S. Census, 5 months.
At the moment I have unemployment which covers my bills and feeds me, but literally has 20$ left over. I tried poking around for cash work but that didn't seem to fly, if anyone has some tips on that I'd do it. Overall though, I'm willing to do any kind of work, even it's considered really 'disgusting' or what have you. General tips on how to present oneself/act during an interview would be awesome too.
