Okay so I have a laptop, an acer 5670 that has an ati x1400 graphics card. I'm looking to buy a new external monitor and I'm a little worried. Basically the latest monitors advertise 1080p and hdmi and all this HD stuff that my video card doesn't even know about. As long as it has a dvi connector, the monitor will work just fine right?
