HOW EXCITED ARE YOU?!

I'm pretty excited. I'm not quite Green Lantern excited, and a little more than Thor excited. I think Chris Evans was a perfect choice for this, but I kind of don't recognize him in this picture.

If they went with that shield there'd be total confusion with people saying 'wasn't that the guy in fantastic four' and 'I thought his shield was round'.

So I guess one out of two wasn't bad?

They should have gone with Chris Pine.

Then people would be confused about Kirk being in their Marvel, but there would be no worries of getting Fantastic Four in my Captain America.

Hey guys you remember the 1990 version?

As long as it is better than that, they can say they did their job.

I don't have a lot of faith considering anyone who is involved with the Fantastic Four movies was even considered for a part in this.

    A) Cap is kinda jingoistic and chest thumping nationalism by nature. Don't think we need more of that right now.

    B) It'll be difficult to not get political with Cap and that's just a recipe for clusterfuck.

As for Thor I just don't see how they can possibly sell it to Joe Average.

Lets make a movie about Ant-Man that's hella accessible.

    Sell it? No, not really.

I'd imagine "Norse God super hero" is going to come across as pretty darn stupid to most movie goers and it won't make much money.

Honestly I'd think it's be the easiest to sell.

He's a Viking God who shoots lightning bolts from his Hammer and he fights other Viking Gods and Frost Giants and shit.

The Ant-Man movie, yeah good luck with that one Marvel, you better cast Leo Dicaprio as Pym if you want a shot at that making any money.

I do love me some Chris Evans. Not sure how I feel about him as Cap though.

I should read more Captain America.

Also I'm moderately excited for this.

Not at all excited about Thor though. I just don't care about Thor at all.

Green lantern, however, is rad. I don't really have high hopes for that movie though.

    Can't wait for the Avengers.

Like in the new cartoon? Man.

I mean, it makes for some nice imagery with the tentacles going over the map, and it makes things more cohesive for in-universe purposes, but the Nazis are the Nazis.

If Indy can punch Nazis, so can Cap. Red Skull is cool and all, but history has already given us the best villains.

Besides, they need to have crazy neo-Nazi scientists trying to resurrect Hitler in the present in one of the sequels. That sells itself.

That was a joke. Too deadpan?

As for "huge dude fights Ice Giants" yeah that sounds awesome to me...because I know what Thor is about. I think most people going into it with no understanding except "Thor? Isn't that like...some German God?" are gonna shrug their shoulders with a confused expression and pay it no mind.
