    When I look at it now my pumpkin doesn't look very much like a pumpkin... Guess I carved off too much of the orange shell - but I can assure you IT IS A PUMPKIN.

    My wife's pumpkin's lid was carved at a pretty steep angle, and last night as we were doing a final walkthrough of the haunted house we're preparing, it decided to plop down at the perfect moment. Made a good *ploop* sound and scared the shit out of a few of us.

    Mine almost made it to halloween, then I discovered it was full of bugs and mould and stunk like week old feet.

    For next year: apparently the secret to keeping your pumpkin lasting longer is to spray it with Clorox Clean Up. The Extreme Pumpkins guy did an experiment and it won. I used it on my skull and it stayed nice until tonight. There's no mold on it at all.

    If that was true (such a prize is too valuable) I would preserve them for next year and make a Khoo pumpkin.
