Does anyone know if the DS version will have the same questions?
Yes, but not all of them; it's a smaller subset, due to space constraints. No link, it was asked in one of the interviews during the launch party stream from the other night.

So I'm debating platform. I have four Wii-motes. I only have two 360 controllers. My neighbors have 360's... and a few of them have Wii's. But 360 controllers are far too expensive to be lugging around with YDKJ... and Wii-motes are cheap. My only question would be how difficult will it be to get DLC on the Wii.

If you're willing to spend a little to get a lot, Amazon has the Scene It! Box Office Smash Bundle for $25. Not only do you get a pretty fun Movie-themed trivia game, you get the 4 Big Button pads included with it. That would cancel out the concern of DLC and as an added bonus - they're infinitely portable.

You're a scholar and a gentleman. Four Sceneit? controllers are now winging their way to my PSC box. And I'll be looking to pick this up tomorrow from the exchange. Woo!

Oh believe me, I'm well aware of BBY not carrying Ghost Trick. Had to break my streak of "not getting things at Gamestop" to pick that one up. (999 was ordered via Amazon, because I knew better on that one.)
But I've picked up DQ9, Golden Sun Dark Dawn*, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future*, Pokemon SoulSilver*, and several other release-day DS games there in the past year. The fact that pretty much all of these are first-party titles has not escaped my notice, however.
*After forcing a sales monkey into the back to fetch them and actually put them on the damned shelf. That was really getting annoying. If DQ9 didn't have a huge display (with Midnight Blue XLs) I probably would have had to do it for that one too.
How are the big button controls going to work with screwing someone? For the regular controller you need to pull the trigger to screw someone. Do the BB controls have a trigger?

Scene-It is pretty fun with a few friends, albeit probably not as long-lasting as YDKJ

Since you don't need to buzz in to answer questions (just press the corresponding answer button), maybe the big button itself works for "screw?" The little "back" button is also unused, I suppose.
I'm actually not going to get the Scene-It controllers...
Two of the people most excited about this game are my mother and my sister, who never play video games.
It'd be a lot easier for them to remember "the answer I want to pick is at the top, so I just press the top of these 4 buttons with my thumb" than making them go "Ok, I want to hit the yellow button. *Glance at controller*"
It looks designed for the 360 pad, too. The answers are arranged in a diamond like the buttons are so you don't even need to know which one is the yellow one; just that you want the top answer in the diamond.
My point still stands though! Tons of people get release date broken.
But let us all know how you like it, future foreign man :P

So I get back from the Exchange (it was so much easier to say BX before) and there's a message for me from my wife, "Go pick up our daughter, she has a fever."
Immediately a plan begins to form in my head...
So I go pick her up, dope her up and put her to bed... then break out YDKJ with my wife!
She trounced me. $23k to $12k. Argh. One round, listening to all of the witty banter and the rules, and watching all of the credits, took 30 minutes.
No major spoilers under the tag, but my favorite parts from Round 1 include:
The Dis or Dat was: Britney Spears song or former Pope?
Also, If Jackson Pollock were a Subway Sandwhich artist.

I completely forgot about this. It's tomorrow. It's only 30 fucking dollars. I got Scene-It for $14.99 a couple years ago on boxing day. And I live across the street from a Best Buy.
I'm also off tomorrow. When my fiancee gets home from work, she's going to know it's trivia time. Why? Because I fucking SAID SO.
True. Man, a missed opportunity. Next time, I guess.
Now if only any other early adopters were on playing it on XBox Live tonight, not finding any games via Player Match. Thankfully there's plenty of radio ads to listen to while waiting.
Now, all we need to do is...
Beaver eating Macaroni and Cheese.
Let's all contemplate on that.

So according to listing on Best Buy's site, there will be 4 sets of 10 episode DLC.

oh well yeah, it's a good deal if you don't already have enough controllers.
seriously it's been eight years since we had a new one of these

Me: "It's Jack. It's worth killing for, since we've waited this long for a new one."
