Hi everyone, I'm Tib. I, much like you I suspect, have been reading Penny Arcade for some time now, and having watched through a lot of PA The Series, I realized that as an aspiring writer it does me no good to just keep my work to myself, that I need to just put it out there and accept whatever criticism may come. I have no intentions of grandeur, I'm not looking to achieve celebrity, but I would take great joy in sharing what I have written. So I have recently begun a blog with a few like minded friends, and with your humble permission I'd like to post it here. If I am breaking any forum rules by posting this I apologize and have no problem with its removal, I simply hope it would be palatable to what I assume are like minded individuals.

Good day humble traveler of the interwebs, I congratulate you on (what I must assume accidental) discovery of our humble blog. As you stand before a dark room, darkly surrounded by dark darkness, wishing you'd brought a torch (the fiery kind not a flashlight...silly English), you find that you are beset on all sides by evil figures...who are wearing dark clothing (they may be evil but they stick to the theme). As you begin to imagine all the horrible ways in which you will soon perish a door is kicked in, in the most manly of ways. True there was no door to begin with so whoever just kicked it in most likely supplied it themselves, but never the less it was kinda cool. As the prop....er....door opens, you see masked figures pour through and in short order the evil is vanquished. From the center of the group a light shines and the figures step out of the dark darkness into the light provided by the the torch...I mean flashlight (DAMN YOU ENGLAND!!!). Not knowing their intentions you quiver at their aura and you struggle to speak in a shaken voice the only 3 words you can put together. "Who are you?" As if on queue the group in unison responds in a deep resounding totally manly fashion "WE ARE THE LEAGUE OF AWESOME!" Impressed by what was clearly a well choreographed and much rehearsed speech you thank them, "You saved my life." Laughing one responds "Yup. That's what we do. Fear not though denizen of the World Wide Web, for you have passed the test, and in standing brazenly in the face of evil, you are ready to join us. Do you accept?"
And thus your story begins. Where you go from here is up to you. Should you stay you will be kept in the loop of the most awesome bits of Geekery the World (wide web) has ever seen.Delve into story created specifically for you the reader to immerse in and live through. Follow the day to day goings on of a rag tag group of gamers trying to work their way through the greatest challenge possible, the creation of their own universe. Also there's gonna be some funny movies and nerdy links n'stuff (this IS a blog after all). So stay if you so choose, prepare to be entertained, and roll for initiative!
