so I finally got around to watching this masterpiece
I had this big pre-amble ready for it, but all that really needs to be said is that it is the worst movie ever made
it stars this up-and-comer, Tommy Wiseau:
who also directed, wrote, produced and executive produced it as Johnny, an all around great guy who everybody loves, except for
Lisa, who has spontaneously decided that she doesn't love Johnny anymore and bangs his best friend:
Mark, despite his constant declarations that Johnny is his best friend
also there's Lisa's mother
who exists solely to tell Lisa how great Johnny is and how overrated love is and also apparently has cancer?
and Denny
who...uh. well, he might be retarded, or he might just dumb, but he's sort of Johnny's adopted son? and he gets into drugs but that's never mentioned again? even for this movie it's pretty confusing
if you've never had the fortune of seeing it, it is required viewing, plain and simple
observe a sample scene:

and of course Tommy Wiseau's climactic emotional explosion can't be missed

if you have seen it, you know it's remarkable
