I just recently got a PS3 and I'm jonesing for something that I can play in short bursts, basically a downloadable puzzle game. I know about Echochrome and Mercury, am I missing anything else good? There's no Puzzle Quest for PS3, right?

PixelJunk Monsters is a fun little tower defense game. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?

Don't forget, Rock Band is great for this. Pop it in, play a few songs, and go on your merry way.
Valkryia Chronicles can also be played in short bursts. It's a tactical RPG similar to Final Fantasy Tactics and games of it's like, however it plays pretty differently. There's a demo of it in the PSN store. When I play it I play it for about 30 minutes at a time. And you could even break that down more. But I am still pretty early in the game, so it may get longer as the game goes on.
And yes, someone else did mention it earlier. Puzzle Quest and Galactix are both on there.
There are also quite a few old PS1 games. I'm sure that there are some that are pretty close to what you want, too. I know the old Crash Bandicoot games are on there and those I remember being pretty decent play for a few minute type games.
