I'm trying to join multiple avi files, everytime I try to save the file it will create multiple files.

I open the first file, then append the next file, so on so forth. According to a youtube video it should output as one file. Instead of using the standard save option should I save it as a project?

I looked on the avidemux website and couldn't find anything very helpfull.

What I do is I drag avi1 into the avidemux window...followed by avi2, avi3, etc. in whatever order I want them to be in. Alternatively, you can just select and drag them all at once. Then I hit save.

Which is essentially just a shortcut to using append, but it's something to try.

Thanks, I'll try.

e1: No deal, still outputing multiple files.
e2: I get it you actually have to convert to another format I was just doing copy for audio and video.
