My connecter(USB) is bent(somehow) and does not work . I tried to push it back and it worked when I turned the computer on. Now the light that shows power flickers at best.

    See if you can order a replacement IR receiver? If your connector is bent out of shape and you cant bend it back I am not sure what you can do.
