So the guys over at Mode 7 (all 3 of them) are putting this little indie title together called Frozen Synapse. It looks like all the fun of planning out your attack routes through the old Rainbow 6 games and none of the furious rage when you forget how to FPS in the middle of a game...

Pretty damn cool right? I noticed that on their site if you buy the game you get a free extra copy for a friend too, so you can make sure you always have a buddy to shoot at. They are looking at building a SP campaign into the game as well. People that buy the middle and upper tier packages of the game get to have their faces used in game too, which might be kinda nifty, or you could just flip your webcam over and send them pics of you pretending to be spider man.

I remember buying this. Then raging when my randomly selected team is all shotgun guys and my enemy's randomly selected team is all bionic supersoldiers who always seem to have either sniper rifles or rocket lawnchairs whenever the hell they want them.

Still hoping that someday when it comes out of beta that we can choose loadouts.
