Here's a different twist on the "name that game" thread:
I have not played the game I'm looking for, and I'm not even sure it has been released. But I can give you a fairly accurate description of what I saw, and maybe someone will recognize it...
It must have been sometime during the last two years, and the only thing I saw was a gameplay trailer where the guy playing it describes how his dream in space games have always been to be able to seamlessly take off from a planet's surface and fly all the way out into space and back*.
The entire trailer is just him showing how this is possible in this game, and it takes him several minutes, so you slowly see the transitions in a very, very detailed way. What I remember is that the planet was covered in mountains which were very tall and quite beautiful. There might also have been snow. I can't remember if it starts on the planet and ends in space or the other way around.
I just did a youtube search trying to find this, but only found two games which weren't the right ones.
Any help in identifying this game (and the trailer) will be greatly appreciated!
*yeah, the guy obviously missed Elite: Frontier... but still...

Which looks 99% like the video I remember... but without the narration... and I've looked around, there's no clip from this game where any guy talks during the gameplay... weird!
