The good stuff doesn't start up until about 3:15, but basically, they're showing the spawns from an aerial position, so you can see exactly where the enemy is spawning, and why. Different spawn zones are high-lighted in red and yellow, and the enemy will basically always spawn there behind the house unless someone on your team pushes off the street past their zone. I thought this video was cool because it's one thing to know you'll flip the spawns if you move up too far, and it's another thing entirely to see it in action.
Bottoms and I have been going over all of our games in theatre to try and figure out exactly where the "no go" zones are each map.
I know a lot of people complain about how shotguns are suboptimal, but they're just so much fun to use. Very few things in this game are better than killing several people in quick succession with one-hit kills.
Joined a server earlier and a few server rules popped up when I joined. I figured, sure, some servers ban grenade launchers or whatever (not that I usually see them anyway, but whatever).
At rule #8 I disconnected. Only ADS, no sprinting, no dual wield, no this, no that. At some point you have to ask why these people even bought CoD in the first place. ARMA 2 is right there if you want to get crazy with things. Also, speaking of dumb rulesets, I wish I could filter out any barebones servers, because that is bullshit. Disabling killstreaks, sure. Disabling equipment, o....k, I guess that's fine. Disabling Perks, yeah starting to get a little silly. Disabling weapon attachments, NO, bad game mode! BAD!
If it's a ranked server, I wouldn't pay attention to that stuff. I was on a french server where one of the messages said no claymores, but nothing other than a few other users whining happened when I used them anyway.
If server admins want to do stupid stuff, they should host unranked servers.
Last round of the night for me yesterday was Demolition on Nuketown. Which makes for some pretty insane gameplay. I think I ended up like 75-40 with 2 plants and 4 defuses.

Sounds a lot like MLG Rulesets to me. No, seriously. I've looked into joining the Call of Duty MLG scene, but their rulesets are so terrible: no triple frags, no claymores, no C4, no Juggernaut (it's been a while ago since I looked into this stuff, obviously). I'm all for tournament rulesets for games like SSBM, where one dude could snag a pokeball and summon a useless Goldeen that just sort of flops about, and the next guy who grabs one gets an insta-kill Snorlax or something. Or where certain levels, like Hyrule Castle, are banned because characters like Fox have a tremendous speed / mobility advantage (zap you once with the pistol then let the timer run out while you evade around the centre of the map).
But Call of Duty isn't SSBM.
When you start banning everything that isn't Stopping Power and an M16, I lose interest.
I don't even know...is that a triple knife kill? o_O
I agree about the PA vs PA not being a whole lot of fun, at least not for more then a game or two. Although running the SAM turret against a full group of PA will net you a lot of points. :winky:

That was some of the best COD I've ever played :P

If you must know Senshi, that was something I said a thread or two ago. I'm from the only officially bilingual province in the country, and my french is beyond super-terribad. The joke being that that's our New Brunswick form of speaking french, whenever you don't know the word you just throw in the English word with a french accent.
edit: and I'm super pleased to know that something I said is in the OP title
I did regret it every single time in mdubs. BLOPS, not so much. I find that as I unlock new stuff I always feel that I have to use it, and then I lose sight of how I expect to play the game because I've got too many options. When I prestige in BLOPS, it's just like, "Here have this vanilla M16, go right to town there buddy!"

I had to have made one guy pissed at me last night. Someone on the other team called in the dogs and I just happen to be at the area of the stage where they come through the wall and proceeded to shoot them all.
It would be cool if this game had a bunch of stat-tracking online like Bad Company 2 and Halo 3/Reach.
It sort of does; check out your play card (or some thing near that menu option) for all kinds of comparisons...

Maybe it's just me, but putting Rapid Fire on the AK74u results in easy kills up close but I can't hit shit farther away (and by farther away I mean more than a few feet away). I wonder if it's worth dropping Rapid Fire and either using another attachment or switching away from Warlord.
