Look I'm a fairly healthy guy, and i've recently just started to work out again.
Today at the office we were all fucking around in the conference room during lunch, and the topics that the women brought up was man ass. Conversation turned for some odd reason to my huge rear end. They all agreed that I had the perfect FEMALE bum because of its large curvature and size. :|

Whats that your thinking Penny-Arcade? Yeah I know, serious shots of OMGWTFBBQ were running through my mind.

Now I know Genetics play a huge role in all of this, but what can I do in the gym in order to reduce its size? Taking a look at all my jeans, the only part that does stretch out is the Bum. I searched up the topics on google and the only websites I can find are the ones where you do squats increasing muscle size, but nothing about actual reduction. Any help would be fantastic!

There's a fitness thread you could probably poke your head in and see if there's anything in particular you can do.

And a wise lesson from a friend of mine:
"A big butt makes it all the easier to sit on a chair! :D"

    In retrospect...she's nuts.

Spot reduction of specific areas on the body doesn't exist. All you can do is lose weight (if applicable) and build muscle.

If you want a less female shape, do a lot of cycling & track-style sprinting combined, that will give you man-shaped buns of steel quicker than any video.

If you're not a big guy that you cant really lose weight overall in the first place, i think you'll just have to learn to accept it and disregard this one time they brought it up.

Besides, for every woman who acted like she had a problem with it, $20 says there is one who likes an ass like yours.

The majority of women will just not care either way, so don't let it get to you. Tell them all they have man hands next time

Jumping is supposed to be a good excerise for toning buttocks. Do one jump on the spot, then one jump to the side, then one jump on the spot then one jump back to the other side. Supposedly there aren't many "normal" exercises which give a good amount of tone to the butt area, which is probably why even though you're fairly healthy you may be lacking in this area.

I have to say they were probably just teasing you about nothing. But if you're really wanting to work on it, a friend of mine once told me (when I commented on wanting a Jessica Alba-like rear end) that if you squeeze your butt while you're walking (it's not noticeable to others or anything) you'll burn more calories and tone your butt. I did this for a few weeks while backpacking through Europe (basically just tighten the muscles in your butt and then release with every step you take) and I noticed a difference. Of course I was walking miles and miles of hilly streets at the time and you may not have the luxury of strolling around all day but if you do a fair amount of walking its something very easy to try. Other than that if you just want an overall less feminine shape, your butt isn't the area I'd worry about. Worry about your overall silhouette and body condition and design a workout that will give you masculine muscle tone. Nothing says manly man like nice biceps and shoulders.

Could be your posture is bad and caues your butt to stick out? Ie: Tighten your lower back andtilt your pelvis so your ass sticks out, that could be happening. To correct this it's going to require you to work on your butt via lunges, step-ups, bridges and your core muscles, specifically the lower abs. Also stretching the quads, hip flexors and QL.

Search the site for other ab exercises such as side bridge and plank.

    picsplzkthx

Some men have really nice bubble-butts, others just have fat asses. It's impossible to determine which you possess from what you wrote.

(but don't really post pics of your naked ass)
