Also, I never noticed it before, but he has crazy chameleon eyes sometimes like in the third panel of today's comic, it's really bad in the first panel of this comic.

You've never heard of sweet potato casserole? It's a tradition at my house, my mom has a secret recipe she got from her grandmother. Here is a recipe and picture to give you an idea, but hers has raisins and condensed milk in it or something.

Uh, it's a part of the meal.

Though some folks make it sans marshmallows.

My family discovered this recipe for Sweet Potato mash, before which I had never been a fan of them, always being much more a fan of the savoury variety.

We then proceeded to eat it at least every second dinner.

I am now once again not a big fan of sweet potatoes.

Baked sweet potatoes or or sweet potatoe wedges (ideally a little bit spicy) are amazing.

Topped with marshmallow I'm not too sure about but I'd give it a shot.

No, we've always served it with the turkey and there's dessert later. But typically people don't eat a whole lot of it because with the marshmallows and brown sugar it's really sweet, so it's better to pile on the regular potatos instead. I'm not a fan so much because the combination of sugars is a weird taste and texture for me.

    it would be pretty awesome

and it is, for it is sweet potato casserole, and it must be

but to enjoy it without marshmallow? I suppose you could

if you're uncouth enough to attempt such an endeavor

perhaps you live in a country that forbids the use of marshmallows under pain of pain and also maybe a small serving of being horribly torn apart by dogs

perhaps you simply could not afford them, being a penniless hobo who traded every single thing he owned, wore, and loved for that precious casserole alone. He sits now, naked, hand poised above the confection in pregnant silence

perhaps you live in a time when sweet potato casserole has been invented, but marshmallow has not, but you eagerly await that bright eyed bushy haired youth with too much style to be contained by the system

perhaps then you may have your sweet potato casserole sans marshmallow

but god help you if it is otherwise

Lots of people have wished me a happy thanksgiving already. Even though we don't celebrate any of the times we've cultivated and stolen a continent from indigenous peoples. And we've done that alot.

I kind of wish we did celebrate it here. All this food talk is making me hungry.

the best way to make yams or sweet potatoes is to just cut those suckers into fours, brush them with melted butter and brown sugar, and bake them until theyre soft

actually theyre great for camping. they work well in tinfoil.
