How to turn off Dualshock 3 analog?

Pretty much just that. It's been bothering me specifically on SF4 because I use the directional buttons and I keep messing up commands because I hit the analog stick.

    The TE's were buy one get one recently, and I remember seeing the pro Hori going for around 60 or 70.
    Both with the best parts you could get for a stick.
