So there has been a distinct lack of discussion about the greatest space opera brought to television on these here internet boards, so we are going to change that.
For those who don't know or may have been lost in the dark sectors of space, Farscape was an Australian/American space opera produced by the SciFi channel (back when it was good) which aired from 1999 to 2003 with a collective four seasons (88 episodes all together). To say Farscape was simply a space opera television show isn't quite fair as it happens to be
the space opera show. To this date no show has been able to trump it in the stories, characters or designs as featured on the program. But you might be wondering, "
If this is so awesome, what the frell is it?" Well, let us begin.

That shows the three intros which dictate the adventures of John Crichton and the other crewmates on Moya.
The series was known for going areas that traditional, televised sci-fi had not gone before and in many distinct episodes developed an amazing level of emotional resonance with the audience. Not afraid to kill of main characters or subvert conventional ideas the show did a lot for the genre.
Also, let us not forget the best character of the entire series, Scorpius. A man so cunning and brilliant you realize that he is actually a better manipulator than even Benjamin Linus from Lost. Plus he has all that leather and well who doesn't want that...

With all of that said if you haven't seen the series I believe it is on Netflix instant streaming. In addition
the entire series is under $60 and is well worth the price.
Let us discuss!!!

He was a great little badass who caused all sorts of trouble.
It also really improves as the seasons go by, so you should do that.
I like to use "frell" and "frelling" randomly on internet forums sometimes. Rarely does anybody recognize it. One person on PA has prior to this thread.

I kind of do not like these sort of things. We know what they mean, why not just say it out loud?
I'm pretty sure it was the australian alien way of saying "fuck," as in "what the Frell/Fuck is going on here?"

Characters that act out of believable motivations with consistency, but can change believably. This show has them.

From the first looks of the series, it was what put me off from watching it, for whatever reason. When I finally watched the series, I actually really liked them.
I seriously laughed at this post for a solid minute.

Best. Episode. Ever.
Probably because they wouldn't have been allowed to.
I don't know what the Australian TV rules on such things were/are.
That is a really good one but my favorite might be Scratch 'N Sniff.

As a film major that episode is like a continual orgasm for me.
The cancellation of the show was one of the reasons that I stopped watching TV.

Initially I read this as "bot sex". It was somewhat confusing.
