I've studied martial arts in the past and I have a couple friends who study varius martial arts, one of whom has participated in local MMA events in the past. I don't follow it, I wouldn't say I'm a 'fan', but yeah. I've enjoyed watching what bits and pieces have been recommended to me.

Passer! My school has a bunch of martial arts programs, is there any type you would recommend out of Capoeira, No-Gi Jiu Jitsu, Hoshinjutsu, Muay Thai or this Russian course that focuses on former SPETSNAZ self-defense techniques?

No-Gi Jiu Jitsu is nice, not having a gi restricting your movement, but it can be awkward inviting guests to your dojo.

Yeah, fucking around with unemployment extensions doesn't qualify as "do no harm".
$10 trillion in tax cuts for $55 billion in unemployment extensions isn't a good deal.

Plus, if they did the unemployment extensions on their own, the Repugs would probably vote for it.

Thats how these things work. Did you really think it was going to get through without something we didn't like attached to it? And 10 trillion is a high ball.

"probably" isn't acceptable here. No unemployment extension is seriously bad. Given the GOPs track record the last two years do you really think it would be safe to risk our last couple weeks trying to get a perfect bill and possibly get nothing?
    yes
Absolutely, no question in my mind whatsoever.

Ten trillion dollars in the worst possible sort of stimulus that we're going to be paying off for the rest of our lives, in exchange for a piddling amount? Nothing is so much better than that.

As I've never heard of Hoshinjutsu, and going by your self-description, I'm gonna recommend Jiu Jitsu. I studied Tae Kwon Do for about five years ( ending 12 years ago), and I wouldn't suggest it for a guy who describes himself as you do. If you're interested in eventually fighting as a hobby, I'd recommend moving on to Muay Thai after a couple years of Jiu Jitsu and some working out.

Yeah that's pretty silly. Also like 70% of all chests are locked - no exaggeration.

Another stupid thing is that there are virtually NO god damned healing potions in this game. I delayed my pick up of Wynne and despite giving Morrigan some healing spells the game was almost impossible.

Should have bought it off their site.

    Digitally?

I tried for over a month to do the BC+WotLK+cata preorder thing to no avail after trying three different debit cards, one of which belonged to someone who banked with a different bank and two different credit cards. Blizzard's CS basically told me over the phone that battle.net uses a different billing system then the subscription fees and it just doesn't work for some people.

Eventually I managed to get BC through the blizzard.com store but WotLK actually required me having someone else order a physical copy off battle.net at the last second so I could get in on the discount deal. Cata I had to get from Best Buy.

Basically what i'm saying is fuck the battle.net store.
