Laptops and Bamboo

I'm looking to get a laptop for the coming Christmas season and found this:

I found it at $675.00 used and was wondering if its a good deal, despite reviews saying that it has a wonky keyboard and touchpad?

    I've got a U50 model and the keyboard is great. the touchpad was a little wonky until i realized it was multi touch. I still use a wireless mouse with it, since I hate touch pads.
