Well, my PS3 locked up about the same level into the game as Mif.
Great game. Loving the story, puzzles, gunplay and of course graphics. Only minor complaints so far:
Even on Normal, enemies feel a bit bullet sponge-y with certain guns, but fine with others. Also, fuck armored enemies.
Not being able to go to the next section because you haven't killed that 1 last hiding enemy is a bit frustrating.
So far, the early "suspenseful action-y" parts have been a bit anti-climactic for me due to the linear nature of the game. Specifically how "as long as you stay on this path, you'll come out of this alive" nature of the gameplay. Then again, someone who hasn't played any of the games I'm sure would have a puckered butthole the entire time. They are still freaking gorgeous to watch and fun be apart of.
My copy shipped! This is great ne-wait a second... shipped by DHL? Fuck.
I guess I'll have to wait three weeks until it arrives instead of the expedited delivery I chose. Either that or they'll deliver it to the wrong address or not at all.

That escape sequence in Chapter 3 can eat a fucking cock. Talk about something taking the wind out of your sails immediately. Way too many places it looks like you can jump to or run to that just result in you falling off a building or getting caught. Goddamn. I was on the verge of just turning the game off. And the game started off with such a bang too.
I'm sure it will get better.

I'll take any codes anybody has/doesn't wan't, just PM.
And holy crap this game. I was worried they weren't going to be able to top the 'holy shit!' moments from 2 but... holy shit!
Anyone who went to PAX/PAX East, know what the codes Naughty Dog were handing out do? I got a Mystery Weapons pack code from PAX East back in March and not entirely sure what it's good for.
Also, I'm ignoring the SP game for now. I didn't pick up a guide, but I'm also the kind of guy who wants to go through the game grabbing all 101 treasures on the first go, which means waiting for someone to put up a guide for that on GameFAQs or something. So I've been MP instead. Already Level 16, already unlocked a few neat things from collecting treasure sets. Put WANG as my clan tag, but running into people who'd recognize it randomly is rare. Feel free to add me on PSN so we can get some proper teams going. I have a headset as well.

there are already video guides for all the treasures and stuff on youtube...
I take by my earlier statement about the suspenseful action-y part being anti-climactic there were a few parts that I puckered up on.
And fuck A) fuck bullet sponging and fuck armored units.... 6 point blank sawed off shotguns blasts? Seriously?

Headshots or hand 2 hand take them down right quick.
Headshot would be great but I'm a shit shot with a controller. And sadly, melee rarely is a viable option. Normally I'm getting peppered from all angles so in the time it take a) line up a headshot or take one down melee, the other 3-5 guys have gotten me to grey if not killed me themselves.
And before you say "L2Headshot", please take into account...(minor level design/environmental spoilers)
it seems like every damn level has a large section of moving environment. Making it hard to line anything up.
I'm passing the insane (for my crappy aim) parts after a dozen or so tries do I'd rather not lower it to easy, but it's kinda crazy that even on normal they can take that much damage. Props to you Hard/Very Hard peeps.
Edit: Still balls-out loving the game and plan to "one-sitting" it. So take any and all complaints about aiming with a grain of salt. It's squarely on me being a n00b with a controller.

I had to force myself to stop playing lest I blow through this in one go.
There's plenty of treasure guides out there.
Also, does anyone find this game to be easier than 1 or 2? I got the '75 kills in a row without dying' without even trying to on Hard and that shit has never happened before. With as easy as I'm running through on Hard I cannot wait for Crushing.

I'm only at chapter 16, but I've found that I'm struggling at certain points, but overall it does seem easier. But not in a bad way, in a "we balanced things to make the game better" way.
Still.
Fuck that
Armored guy on the cruise ship with the PAL. Took me like... 10 tries to get him down.
In uc2 I always found sneak attacks worked against armoured dudes. Get their attention, hide round a corner, wait for them to approach and then BAM. Dead shotgunner.
Made it up to chapter 8? 9 maybe last night. Fun stuff so far.
Even though it was in the demo, escaping from the chateau was a great sequence. Really intense all the way through.
I actually enjoyed the escape in chapter 3. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like uncharted 1/2 trained me pretty well to pickup on where the "jumpable" spots are.
Running away from the spiders however? Lame. Especially the first time I did it, I made it through the door, and then while I don't have control of Drake I die. Super lame.
Overall, enjoying it a lot. Melee it pretty awesome in this one. I also like the little things they added to character animations, such as Drake putting his hand on objects you come to close to.
hrrmm, I think it peaked somewhere around the 75% mark, with the cruise ship, the horseback chase, and the plane. The end stuff in the city was fairly underwhelming, as was the demise of both the antagonists.

So apparently the co-op adventure follows a kind of story and I've only played the last part.
Anybody notice the aiming is kind of wonky, especially in comparison with UC1 and 2? It's probably the only thing that's been bugging me so far. Love everything else, but I feel the aiming is very imprecise. I don't know if it's a result of auto-aim, but it seems to have trouble registering diagonals.
I've pumped the sensitivity to its highest and it's slightly better, but it's definitely detracting from an otherwise awesome experience.

Yes. I'm going to experiment with sensitivity next time I play, but it's bordering on frustrating. The gun sounds pack more punch this time though. Especially the AK.
My copy shipped! This is great ne-wait a second... shipped by DHL? Fuck.
I guess I'll have to wait three weeks until it arrives instead of the expedited delivery I chose. Either that or they'll deliver it to the wrong address or not at all.
Does DHL have a history of doing this? Same shit happened to my dad who bought a phone case off Amazon. His address on his account was right, the address the company gave us was right, but DHL shipped it to a house that didn't exist. We had to wait a month before we got it sent, finally.
In regards to the accuracy I've got my cranked up to full and it still has both deadzones and trouble with diagonals. Add that to my lousy aim and I'm constantly framing enemies, especially in MP.
I die do darn fast sometimes in MP. It's crazy. Still, it's nice to know the dual melee killings are still in from beta. Hah.
Avoiding grenade deaths doesn't seem to be as much of an occurence as they were in the first beta back in June. I mean, it still feels like you can throw a grenade, and the guy won't die, but he tosses one back, and you're dead without anyone else firing a shot to soften you up, but this seems to happen less often now, I find.
I'm trying to level up Treasure Hunter and Cloaked and they're both a real pain in the ass. Stealth kills don't seem to happen sometimes despite the blue icon being above my target's head when I hit Square, and I'm pretty good at racing to treasure boxes, and lucky enough to usually have an enemy drop a treasure or two each match, but it's annoying when I'm 2/3 and the next couple of opportunities turn out to be Three Medal Pickups or Just Cash...

Yes. They're a rather horrible delivery company. And every package I've had delivered by DHL has either arrived terribly late or to the wrong address.
I was excited when my game shipped until I saw it was sent by them. Now I'm rather depressed. When it does arrive [late], I'm going to call up the store, demand my shipping money back, and tell them they're going to lose a customer due to DHL.

I think I'm at like chapter 11 now (I'm at work so can't check) and I keep trying to figure out what the 'oh shit' supernatural angle is going to be this time. I didn't spoiler that because seriously it's an Uncharted trope at this point.
So far I've noted (and don't spoil anything for me please if you choose to address these):
1. The insta-mummified henchman in the chateau, which I believe is related to...
2. OMGSPIDERS
3. The dart that gets Cutter all ball-trippin and subject to mind-control...OMGSPIDER venom maybe?
4. The fancyboy villain (I forget his name) being invincible.
5. 'Scary Poppins' making a comment about 400 years. 400 years for her or 400 years for the secret society she's a part of?
I thought the weird shit in 2 was a slight letdown, I hope it's not the case this time.
I've fine with supernatural angles so long as no monsters are involved. Indiana Jones didn't fight Nazi zombies. But Nathan Drake has fought monsters, and those parts have always disappointed me. I'm hoping Uncharted 3 is a little more grounded.

If you're being serious, Macduff is a major character in Macbeth. He's the one who kills Macbeth at the end of the play after Macbeth has his family murdered.

Not monsters, exactly. Post-humans, which is actually what zombies are. I would be okay with Indiana Jones fighting zombified Nazis (as in Nazis whose humanity - as if they had any to begin with - has been stripped away via supernatural means). For that matter Indiana Jones getting a little wacky isn't new; see Fate of Atlantis, and excellent PC adventure game from back in the day. Uncharted actually reminds me of it a lot.
