Good movies to rent

I didn't catch any topics like this in the search; if I missed something feel free to point me the right way.

I've never been a big movie watcher, and there's a number of popular films I've missed out on. I've decided to remedy this, and a couple hours ago I signed up for netflix and picked out a few movies that came to mind. I also looked through the AFI top 100 and IMDB top 250, which gave me a good number of other films to add to the queue.

Some movies I've watched and particularly enjoyed in the past in no real order:
Usual Suspects
Thomas Crowne affair
Terminator/2 (the second especially)
Boondock saints
Fight club
The Fugitive
Star Wars, etc.
History of the world pt. 2
LOTR
Pulp Fiction

... and my netflix queue at the moment:
Reservoir dogs
The godfather (to be followed by 2 and 3, assuming I enjoy it)
12 monkeys
Seven
American History X
Rashomon
2001: A Space Odyssey
Blade Runner
Donnie Darko
Unforgiven
The Green Mile
Seven Samurai
Rocky
Memento

My question to you, as I'm sure you've guessed: What have I missed? Movies "similar" to those above are naturally good, but even if they're not looking them up on IMDB won't take me long, so don't feel too constrained by the list.

That one was ok but not nearly as good as other movies of that style/genre, imo.

Layer Cake was the movie that sold me on Daniel Craig as the new James Bond (before the actual new Bond movie came out). Was not awsome but worth seeing, I would put it lower on your list.

I can't believe no one's mentioned this movie:

    Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

I found it to be a hilarious movie, with great characters due to Val Kilmer and Downey Jr, and some pretty memorable lines.

And with your taste in movies, you'll probably like it.

Even though it looks really stupid, it is a somewhat good crime/mystery alebit a very absurd one.

Also, don't bother with The Godfather Part 3. You will be entirely engrossed by the first two and will love them. The third will just piss you off.

The Butterfly Effect really isn't worth watching.

Aston Kutcher as a genius? Totally unbelievable. The rest of the plot was poorly executed as well.
