Memetic Resonance via Video Game OST's

This one's just for fun... name a moment from a game in which what you were seeing synced up with the sound so perfectly that you felt a warm, headbuzz as if you were actually the one performing said feat in the game.

To get the ball rolling, one of mine:

Glenn realizing the power of the Masamune in his hands and shooting a beam up into the heavens as he leap slashed the crack-less rock wall in twain, opening the way to Magus's Lair.

Your turn!

I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words...

Okay I'm gonna use this dumb thread to vent dumb things

The wikipedia page for the Silent Hill movie soundtrack is so inaccurate it makes me want to cry. I can understand leaving out tracks that you don't know the names of, as this person obviously only has fleeting knowledge of the Silent Hill OSTs that he most likely gleaned from Amazon or whatever, but to completely get a track name wrong is really retarded

I mean what kind of fan mistakes "Kill Angels" for "Hear Nothing"

    Or "Moonchild" for "For All"

Also the fact that it keeps referring to "Prayer" as "One's Weaker Self" is so wrong oh god where is all this blood coming from aaaaaahhhhhhh

Dude, N64 games were all extremely low-poly. And they used a lot of plain old vertex-colored polygons, like, without even having textures on them.

One time in Dino Crisis I was running away rom a velociraptor and it bit at my characters head but missed by a few inches. The sound effect it made plus my emotional state made me swear I had felt it on my own neck.

Is that what we're talking about?

No, I'm pretty sure the original poster has no fucking clue what he's talking about. Especially his butchering of the use of the term memetic.

Sometimes during a fighting or action game I'll find myself attacking in line with the music. This usually hurts my performance as it keeps me predictable and focused on something irrelevant to the actual action but it feels a lot more fun.
