WMV problems

Recently all of the WMV files i've tried to view have showed up with blue and red colours instead of normal colours, like some type of messed up heat vision. Mpeg files still view normally. This weirdness occurred roughly around the same time I installed Medieval TW II, upgraded my ATI drivers, and may or may not have upgraded my direct X. What can I do!?

    IIRC updating Windows Media Player fixed it for me.
