Playstation 3 Wireless Networking

CrashtardCrashtard Registered User regular
My in-laws got my wife & I a 120GB PS3 for Christmas (yay), and I'd like to hook it up to my wireless network.
I'm trying to find a wireless adapter online for it, but there doesn't seem to be an official playstation adapter for it; all I'm finding are usb wireless adapters. Can I just buy any usb adapter, or is there a particular brand/model that works best I should use?

I pinky swear that we will not screw you.

The PS3 has a wireless adapter built in.

Yup. Except for that old 20GB model no-one bought, they should all have them.

On the other hand, there are a few PS3 consoles (mine included) that have crappy, potentially dying wireless receivers, but given that you got a new one, I seriously doubt you have to worry about that.

I guess that explains the lack of an official adapter then, thanks guys. This thread can be locked.
