So I am going to be risking solo queue from now on, because my friends who can rape everyone with me are never on, and the current people i'mplaying with must be licking a window or two.
The thing is, they're great players, but they just take really unneeded risks.

No, like, there are times when I legitimately play awful and can admit it. But I have been playing great. It's situations like this:
10 minutes in. Hero score is 10-1. I have the only kill on my team, and no deaths. I've gotten my team two dragons already and ganked each lane at least once, popping summoners and doing some damage at very least.
This is the kind of shit I am dealing with right now. I'm actually to the point where I'm beyond rage and into apathy now.
Edit: Oh, and yeah, I'm not saying this stuff doesn't all balance out in the end. I firmly believe that it does. But in this small microcosm of LoLing I am definitely getting fucked over.

I wouldn't be surprised if the creep score was heavily slanted in the enemy's favor. I ran into philosophically similar situation last night when I realized I was leading the match in creep kills as a Jungle Rammus and then realized why our team was lacking some punch.
Elo Hell is when you go 15-9-15 and your jungler goes 2-27-9
Elo Hell is when you tank for 2-5-9 and your Kog rushes Zeal and goes 0-9-1.

I feel like such a coward when I read stuff from OremLK about ranked and shit because I've done two games in ranked solo 5v5 and that was maybe 3 months ago and I haven't done any since because they were terrible games. Each game had an intentional feeder for no reason what so ever, as soon as the game started the dude would run right into their tower as soon as he saw the enemies were there, it was unbelievable.
I haven't had the heart to go back to it because every time I think about doing ranked I think about those two shitty games. I need to man up and dive into ranked

This is actually true. Watch 1800+ streams; it's the same thing. You lose because of feeders. Sure, there are less leavers, but that doesn't make much of a difference. "ELO hell" is actually just the structure of the game.

I don't think I've ever seen an intentional feeder on an 1800+ stream. Bad players, sure, but intentionally feeding, no.

I wish Teemo cost 450. 3150 is just not the IP investment I want to save for considering the champion, but I still want to play the guy eventually just for mushrooms. So with leveling, do the heroes save their skills you pick from game to game or do you 're-level' like you 're-buy' equipment every game.
What you do in-game is independent from game to game.
Seriously? So the only customization you get from game to game are the runes?
Runes, Masteries, and what summoner spells you have chosen to take into that game.

Runes, masteries, what champion you want to play, what build you want to play him with and thus subsequently your equipment purchasing priorities, your summoner spells you play that game to a lesser extent.
That's extremely interesting. So every game you essentially rebuild your character along with everyone else? I suppose that does reward actual skill rather than minimaxing a character prior.
Some people like to listen to other people as they justify their minmax strategies. I prefer to figure shit out and find the builds that amuse me the most.
Also, welcome to the shitfest. You should know about yordles.
