“Sit down, child. Have you tended to your duties? Good. Then I will tell you a story this night.”
“But Father Gu! I told my friends that I would-”
The elderly man stamps his foot down. “Not this night. For your uncle Burnage and I have talked, and decided that this is a story you should hear.”
“What? When did Crazy Uncle Burnage get here?”
From behind the father, a man stood up. “That's right. It's important for you realize I'M NOT CRAZY BUT THERE ARE THINGS OUT THERE THAT WILL FLAY THE FLESH RIGHT OFF YOU-”
“Settle, brother. No-one is saying you're crazy.”
The child raised his hand. “I am.”
The father stamps his foot again. “ANYWAY, tonight you shall hear the story of the fall of Neo Khartoum.”
“Oh, but I've heard about that in my Glorious Emperor Beneficial History Lessons. The Dark Angels stood gloriously against legions of foes.”
The father began to hold his head. His brother asked, “What have they been teaching my nephew?!”
Father Gu shook his head. “Errors and falsehoods. See, boy, we were on that planet, long ago.”
The boy's eyebrows rose. “You were?”
“Yes. And we saw things both great and terrible. And we learned lessons that must not be forgotten...”
The year is 991.M41, 40,000 years in the future. The world of Neo Khartoum has produced many great war machines for the Imperium of Man, beset on all sides by the menace of Xenos, and the insidious forces of Chaos. For long, this world has resided on the frontline and flourished, protected by the local chapter of Space Marines known as the Dark Angels, superhuman soldiers fanatically loyal to the Emperor of Man, and the planetary garrison of Imperial Guard, normal human soldiers who face the horrors of the galaxy with unmatched heroism and bravery.
But now, the balance has changed. The Dark Angels have been called away to assist the Ultramarines with their campaign against Tau expansion, leaving the garrison dangerously undermanned. The enemies of Man sense this shift, and begin their infiltration of the world, plotting first steps of a campaign which would ultimately spell the fall of Man. But there is hope...
Phallahammer 40K
What is this?
This is a Phalla game for 50 players. If you don't know how to play, the rules are
here.Who's hosting this shindig?
Burnage and myself.
Burnage Oh God OH GOD
Indeed.
So what twisted concoction has he thought up this time?
Hmm...That would spoil the fun. The game itself, however, is pretty standard: Village vs. Mafia.
So...Where's the twist?
You know how, right around here, people can usually say what you don't have to worry about in terms of mechanics in play? Well, here: You can always play to your original win condition.
That's it??
That's it. Vote close is at
1 AM GMT, i.e. 7 PM CST. One vote post and one non-vote post required each day;
That's your only warning.Other rules:
No screenshotting or direct quoting of your role PM or any other information the hosts send you (except to players that you begin the game masoned with). You are allowed to paraphrase, if you want.
Burnage and myself must be invited to any proboards made.
Dead players may not converse with living players and vice versa, here or on any proboards, or any other place. When you die, whatever you know dies with you. You are allowed one Ghost Post, but it may not contain any game information.
Voting is done in
bold red. Retracting can be done in
bold lime but is not required, just re-vote.
Clarifications should be asked in
bold orange.Current Clarifications:

Order of Actions:

Generic PM:
You are a Conscript! The Imperial Guard has never shied away from artificially bolstering its numbers in time of need, and this certainly qualifies. With your deadly-in-large-quantities lasgun and flak armor, you step forth to defend all that you know and love.
You win when the mafia is repelled.

I have never played or watched a game of Warhammer in my life, and I sure as hell don't know the rules or spend money on the game.

So the soul is to the spirit.
As death is to mortal man,
So failure to the immortal.
Thus is the price of all phalla.
But it might help.
