Thanks. Nice round number on that one. If you feel things get a little sluggish in the next 5 min, that's just me slogging through our 4 million posts in one year

The data still needs a little more cleanup, and I gotta run and have dinner. So here's a teaser graph in the meantime:

I'd like to see the means for each group over the year too (or at least the actual numbers for each month so I can get it myself) if that's okay.

I tried several different colors before choosing this one. None of them are great - it is hard to read just because the two overlap so much.

I would like to take credit for the drop of posts this December, as it's when I decided to man up and start posting more.

And logically, these means I was so repulsive, I pushed people away.

Now post the list of top ten posters of 2010.

I got a kick out of that the one time I saw it.

Like 7 or 8 years ago.

A nice thought, but I just gave it a try and though the query EXPLAIN test made it look safe, it did lock up the forums for a couple minutes there. So, no dice.

Can't fault a man for trying.

    That's what we told everyone.

The truth is something that we will take to our graves.

I knew you guys were really a blood cult this whole time.

Now maybe people will listen to me when I talk about the evil works that went on in that forum.

The population in D&D is generally smaller than the other two big sub forums. Looking at total users at the moment they're not even half of what G&T has. There's probably just way more back and forth in there on account of the nature of the forum topics. Same with SE++. They're only a third larger than D&D but there's far more back and forth that can happen in that forum compared to G&T.
