Craigslist help

I'm trying to sell 50 some odd oak cabinets on craigslist at a pretty good price but I'm not getting many responses, and the ones I am getting aren't exactly good. Are there any better sites/better methods to do something like this or are people really not looking to buy good cabinets for cheap?

Like a kitchen cabinet or a free standing hutch?

No one is going to buy them unless they are redoing a kitchen/master bathroom on a budget, and even then people like to choose what they want. They could easily be refinished though, which is great for the right person.

Unfortunately, that's a ridiculous amount of difficult to sell second hand stuff. What kind of offers are you getting/want?

I'm doing $200 for 5 of them, $1500 for everything, but I'll probably knock down the price some more. I've already gotten some more responses but who knows if anything will pan out.

While that is a very good price if those are solid oak and not oak ply, remember that this isn't exactly a fast moving item. Cabinets aren't exactly universal: Most people want them to fit their kitchen precisely. The ratio of people who are ready to remodel:people who are willing to buy used:people who realize that oak cabinets are higher quality than the particleboard cabinets you can buy new at Home Depot for the same price: people who have the ability to either to do the custom fitting themselves or find a contractor that's willing to do a bit of extra work to do the retrofitting is very small. The first group is fairly large, but considering that your target audience is a member of every one of those increasingly small groups at once... You can almost certainly sell them, but I can't imagine it will be a quick sale, unless you get lucky, or people in your part of the country have a much different mindset than in mine.
