The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
So I was browsing these forums and saw some really nice work and some not so much, but it made me want to draw, so I busted out the tablet and started.
Basically from what I can see is that the characteres lack form. You have sketched in the skeleton I see, but you need to draw around guidelines to form planes to give the characters form.
Also, the design of the dragon thing is a fair bit naive. You are going for a Face-off side view composition, while fairly boring, works as intended. But with a such a simple layout you need to work on the silhouette to make the image interesting. Not only does the dragon's head lack form, but the design is basic as you can get.

be cautious of proportion, too. The man's head is gigantic compared to his torso, and your dragon, if he closed his mouth, would have an enormous underbite.
Moving this drawing to a view that is less of a dead-on side view would give it a lot more life. Right now it is incredibly flat.
