Is there a market for old Ataris / Games / Controllers?
When Super Nintendo came out all those years ago, my Mom and Dad decided it was time for my first gaming system and bought me an Atari 7800
I still tease my Mom about it.
The only cool thing was that all my friends took pity on me and gave me their old Atari stuffs. I have about 50 games as well as 6 or 8 controllers and a 2600 as well as my 7800.
does anyone buy this stuff?
if so, where would I sell it? A gaming site? or ebay?
edit: looking at ebay shows prices that vary hugely hehe
Its gong to depend on the condition/rarity of your stuff. If you've still got all the boxes and stuff, that'd up the value quite a bit.

Unless you've got a lot of the original packaging, it's not worth much. We've got a used game store that Gamestop didn't buy out in our area that still sells that stuff and most of the games go for a few bucks a piece, I've seen working consoles online for less than $40.
When everyone started making those little plug in to your tv Atari controllers that were Atari branded and came with 50 games, it kind of killed the market.
Just throw it all up on craigslist for $300 and see who bites, and adjust from there.
What amateur said, UNLESS you have the packaging for those games. In which case you'll want to do a lot of research. The boxes and game manuals all hold more value than the actual games and system, since most people don't still have those.
