    Hey guys,

I know there are several people who are feeling rushed to get a character created by the deadline.

Thus, I am going to extend the deadline to this Tuesday, January, 11th.

    Backstory and IC :
He stood up from the table collecting all the credits infront of him. His silver hair was getting to be a problem it was flowing all around getting in his eyes, he should go get it cut.... The little military room the table was "set" in was smoky and hot from the people inside it. Kalor collected the chips infront of him, smirking and knowing the military boys won't try anything. Too afraid of getting on the bad side of the empire - stupid really when you consider the number of enemies the Empire has.
" Always a pleasure boys. Keep protecting the galaxy and all that." he walked off getting his blaster from the private near the door. The door slid open after the boy punched in the code - " boy" was probably 3-4 years older then him. Couldn't tell he was still in uniform. He was the lookout for trouble, he had to be. As the door slid open the flood of light made Kalor wince at the light from the lights in the complex.

It was a back room in a barracks complex. Kalor knew the daily code and the sergeant vouched for him so he would not have any problems for today. It felt good winning money from these morons. It would be even better if he could start shooting. But not today, today was reconnaissance. He needed to remember all the exits and drop a few spy bugs here and there, he expertly had hidden on him. He dropped 3 of the 4 and was going to keep the last one for himself. These chumps didn't pay him enough anyway. As he walked out of the barracks complex he smirked again to himself - playing all sides is always profitable - as the sensor of the last spy bug was disarmed so the once who hired him thought it had malfunctioned or had been found.

He flipped his cowl upwards as he left the complex the guard outside eying him distrustfully. As he flipped his cowl he accidentally glanced the side of his head wincing as the pain shot through him. Approaching a window he eyes himself in the reflection. His eye still black from the hit that mentally deficient Gamorrean delivered to him after a slight misunderstanding about his female parent. Kalor said he liked your drinks. The stupid beast understood " I like your mom".
Kalor looked closely and noticed he had cuts on his lip from the glass shattering as he fell off the bar stool. He would have shot the guy, but he had to befriend the troopers, so he could get to the card game and plant the bugs.

One thing was for sure he wasn't going to that bar again, he laughed quietly to himself as he walked to the meeting point to receive his payment.

I might change the pic to something similar but this really caught my eye. Also might add some misc items more because i got 2500 creds.

    Background
Countless pieces of debris float through space spinning slowly as they drift. A Jedi starfighter burst from hyperspace narrowly managing to avoid flying straight into the debris field. The starfighter enters a rapid barrel roll to the left avoiding most of the debris although a few bits of scrap bounce off of it's deflector shield. A dozen Vulture-class droid starfighters erupt from hyperspace almost on top of the Jedi ship. Two of them are unable to avoid the debris field. Crashing in brief bursts of flame quickly snuffed in the cold oblivion of space there are no sounds to mark the droid ship's passing. The remainder of the squadron continue in hot pursuit of the Jedi starfighter.

R4-P12's blockish head swivels around taking in the sight of the approaching droid ships. Taking in the trajectory of each ship in an instant it begins speaking to the Jedi in the starifighter's cockpit in it's popping binary language. "<CIS ships approaching from the rear on an intercept course. Recommendation. Begin immediate evasive maneuvers.>"

The young human male steering the starfighter twisted the controls in his hand and sent the ship careening out of control in a different direction. Dark blood dripped down onto he Jedi's face pouring from a large gash on his forehead. "Keep them off of me R4, we're almost there."

Accessing the weapon systems and preparing to open fire R4 was instantly aware it could take no such action. "<Primary weapon is currently offline. Secondary weapons will be ineffective at this range.>"

"Then throw something at them if you have to! Just get those blasted droids off of my tail for a few more seconds." Three bone jarring tremors mark the fire of the enemy ships that have entered weapons range. Sparks erupt from the ship as one of the laser blasts strikes the starfighter's hull.

    "<Deflector shields have failed.>"

"Wonderful. Just hail the fleet. A few dozen republic ships should be enough to give these droids a lesson in flying. I'll steer us into those asteroids, that should buy us some time." The Jedi began steering the ship back the way they had come in a long arcing path.

"<Unable to hail Republic forces. Scans suggest that the makeup debris field is largely metallic not organic. The materials detected are consistent with the makeup of Republic ships. >"

"Garn vash yun tai okha bantu!" The pilot slammed his fist into the console.

R4 had been programmed to recognize numerous languages, the one it's pilot was currently using was not among them. The little droid looked back at the droid ships which seemed to be hesitating to come any closer to the debris field than they had to. "<Please repeat command.">

    "I'm ejecting you R4."

"<That course of action is not recommended.>" No emotion accompanied this statement from the droid. Although it did not find the idea of being launched into space was not an especially appealing one.

"They might stop to pick you up, the information you contain is more valuable than one more dead Jedi."

"<Supplying information to the CIS would be a treasonous act.>"

"Which is why I'm going to wipe your memory. I'm sorry R4 but you're just a droid and I need to..."

When R4-P12 was next activated a human coated in several inches of thick grim was weeping a few inches away while patting the droids head.

    "Array?"

Array. Humanoid designation. Origin Alderaan. Acceptable secondary designation.

    "What is our location?"

"We're home Array, don't worry I'll take care of you."

Looking into the tear streaked face of this human R4 struggled to remember if they had ever met before. It found no recollection of the human anywhere in it's memory. Coming to a decision the droid begins shuffling in the rubbish pile as it attempts to rise. "Acceptable."

    Background Information:
    Backstory
Gilly hails from Dac, the MonCal homeworld, at a time in which most MonCal are still fighting to liberate their world from Imperial control. Until relatively recently, he had been forced to work on Imperial Star Destroyers in the massive shipyards in orbit above his beloved homeworld. When his people rallied and drove the Empire out of the system, Gilly was part of the strike force in the orbital ship yards.
Following that, Gilly joined up with the Rebellion, lending his not inconsiderable mechanical know-how and piloting experience to the war effort. He was stationed on Hoth, spending much of his time helping to adapt the T-47 airspeeders to the harsh environment of the ice planet, when it was discovered and assaulted by the Empire.
    Flavor Text!
The icy halls shook as Gilly stumbled his way from the barracks toward the hangar, where transport awaited him. The walkers, with their ponderous, rumbling steps on the ice above, would be the death of the rebels without a single blaster shot at this rate! Wrapping his cold-weather cloak tighter around his neck and steeling his resolve, he continued down the hallway, narrowly avoiding falling chunks of ice and debris as Echo Base crumbled around him.
Upon reaching the hangar bay, he was dismayed to see the state it was in. The Alliance troops were running about, looking for their battalions and their designated cargo pods, and the officers were no better. Gilly rushed to the side of someone carrying a flimsiplast manifest and snatched it from his hands. Skimming over it, he saw it was the manifest for all of the crew and cargo assigned to the first transport set to leave Hoth.
“What are you doing standing there?” he asked the officer he just stole the manifest from, “Help me get this nerf-herd rounded up!”
In his most authoritative voice, he began to shout at the troops rushing by, doing what he could to direct those closest to him to where they needed to go. It was a more difficult task; his Mon Calamari vocal chords struggled with Basic, often coming out in a hoarse gurgle the louder he tried to speak. As the Alliance was primarily human, he’d taken to being more soft-spoken since joining. It was easier on him, and he found it lent more credence to his words when he spoke. The exception to this rule was when he was working in the hangar. One could never afford not to be heard in the hangar, especially ones as chaotic as he’d grown accustomed to working in. An unheard “Head’s up!” could mean the difference between a near-miss and accidentally knocking someone into an engine intake!
With his help, the officer was able to wrangle the disarrayed troops into a semblance of order, and shortly before they heard the All-Clear to launch, they’d crammed the last pod full, and Gilly was climbing the ladder to the transport’s small bridge. He had barely strapped himself in when the ship lurched forward, pressing him back in his chair as the inertial dampers worked furiously to keep up.
As the atmosphere of Hoth faded into starfield, Gilly’s heart raced when he saw the distinct wedge shape of Imperial Star Destroyers in orbit.
This is it. It’s all over. The Ion cannon won’t fire in time, we’re all lost, he thought grimly, gripping the arms of his seat tightly, eyes closed. Moments passed, and the crew of the Quantum Storm began to cheer. Gilly opened one eye, and saw the distinct lines of ion energy coursing over the nearest Star Destroyer, giving them just enough time before another closed the gap to jump to hyperspace. Gilly closed his eyes again, this time in relief, as he felt the familiar lurch of the transport escaping into hyperspace.

The character I am submitting is Aran Satori, son of Alderaan and veteran special operations scout. The shock in the force from Alderaan's destruction (and losing his family/friends) caused him to go a little crazy. He's (mostly) better now. Incredibly absent minded at times, yet when it comes to accomplishing the mission, no one does it better.

Can often be found talking to himself about nothing in particular, and seems to enjoy responding to questions with rhymes and puzzles.

He is very fond of his darling Array, whom he credits with keeping him sane.

    Background Post!
Aran Satori was born into Alderannian nobility. The fifth son in a long line of notable politicians, masters of finance, and business moguls. Aran was always the odd nerf of the family. He had no head for numbers, little patience for politics, and a distinct lack of desire when it came to business management. According to his father, the only thing his fifth son was good at was being a constant source of frustration and disappointment.

As news of the Republic's conflict with the Trade Federation reach Alderaan, Aran decided to take the opportunity to find his own path. Though he was well under the minimum age of enlistment, he managed to forge the documents needed to enlist in the war against the separatists. He spent the next 20 years in combat, as soldier and mercenary.

He still visited Alderaan between campaigns. He even met a beautiful and kind Alderanni woman, whom he made his wife. And soon after, a baby boy. Although a loyal husband and father, it was never was long before Aran was leaving once more to fight someone else's war.

And then Alderaan was gone. He can't recall exactly where he was when it happened, but he'd never forgotten the feeling of that moment. The overwhelming force of a billion cries of pain and remorse invading his mind. From that moment on, his head was like a crowded holovid theater full of a thousand people yelling like a flock of mynoks had latched onto their nethers.

He wandered for years in that stupor, unsure what was real and what was another fabrication of his cracked psyche. Heated arguments with people who died long ago, lightyears away were a hourly occurrence. Sometimes he could even make out the voice of his father, perpetually tinged with disgust as it always had been when referring to his most disappointing son.

Then, during one of his more lucid moments, he heard a ... familiar sound emanating from a trash heap in back of an alley he'd taken as his residence. The mewling of an infant, it was unmistakable. He dug into the debris like the madman he was, unflinching as jagged refuse cut dirty gashes into both hands. Then, careful as a zenobiological physician in surgery, Aran cleared the last of the debris away. Tears ran freely down his grime-encrusted cheeks. "Array?"
