Music Players: For Computer

Hi guys,

I've been using iTunes for sometime as my music player. I think I've come to hate it. But, I don't know what else is good. I don't need it for much, all I have in iTunes right now is a massive, unsorted library. I don't use any of its added features. All I'm looking for is something that is ideally small, simple and stable. No video playing or other features are necessary. I'm running Windows XP.

What do you guys use?

Winamp is probably the best bet, it looks like the 90s, but it still works. There is also fubar2000, but its unsupported now.

The older versions of Winamp tend to be better, if you're looking for something bare bones. I've been using version 2.91 forever.

Winamp was always too bloated for my tastes.

    foobar2000 is amazing.

I downloaded foobar2000. It functions, and it works fine with my foxytunes firefox plug-in. Thanks guys, I'll call this one solved.

There is no possible way to lime this hard enough. I'd lost all faith in music players till I found this.

Huh, I think it went unsupported for a few months a while ago, but color me misinformed. I apologize.

I was the happiest man on earth when I discovered the ipod plugin for foobar.

That is amazing and might actually make it worth owning an iPod again someday.
