Hey guys, so I'm after some really chill funk/jazz music that just grooves. Probably best to just get straight to the example.
Soil & "Pimp" Sessions - Funky Goldman
Man, I love that classic R'n'B tone the sax player has going on... wish I could pull that off. These guys are great, and I highly recommend them. Out of the two albums I've heard, they do a lot of harder and quicker stuff, and there's a fair bit of a latin influence there too. I love this track though because it just sits back on a smooth groove.
So, any suggestions? If you're going to suggest some smooth jazz just please make sure it has some soul... Kenny G is not welcome here. Thanks guys!
