What type is this freakish DVI port?

This is the DVI port on the back of my television. It has two extra, narrow, vertical holes I've never encountered on anything else. The manual doesn't treat it like it's anything special, but I have never been able to identify what type this is or where to get cabling for it. Any ideas?

An ordinary DVI cable should be fine, it'll carry all the info needed..

    Looks like a 'dual-link' style.

    Ryna's right, should be fine.

The two extra pins are probably something Sony built into some of their products for extra features. Safe to say, a regular DVI-D cable should work.

It is DVI-D, but the two vertical slots are to enable backwards-compatibility with PnD devices. Nothing to worry about, I doubt you'll ever come across anything that requires that pinout
