NBC Thursday Night Comedies Yay!

So yay, tomorrow NBC brings back new episodes of thursday night comedies! huzzah!

well, half huzzah because only half the lineup looks good. so kinda see tv, i guess

First up is Community!

next up is perfect couples
meh. basically, some studio exec decided to remake friends, but everyone is married in the beginning! and olivia munn is in it? cool?


then its the office, still going strong. I've kinda stopped watching the past few seasons, but holly looks to be back and steve carrel is leaving mid-season, so it'll be interesting to see what happens


Then its Parks and Recreation! one of my favorite shows last season and has definitely been off the air for too long

andy and april have out-pamandjim pam and jim in terms of adorableness. plus they brought in adam scott and rob lowe!

there was no fuckin show before me!

and finally 30 rock! liz lemon is still awesome and tracy jordan is still crazy! and MAAAATTTT DAAAAAMON might make random appearances!

    i haven't watched the office since last season's break

    i haven't really felt compelled to, either

    also i haven't really watched community but i don't think it's for me

    but community and parks & rec are probably my two favorite shows right now

    parks and rec is as good as the office used to be and community is just outstanding

    I watched the pilot episode of Perfect Couples on Hulu, and found it to be pretty good. Not Community or Parks and Rec good, but easily better than Outsourced.

    Word. She's dreadful. Her comic timing isn't tracked with a stop watch so much as with a calendar.

    But oh man oh man, Parks and Rec coming back. The February 10th episode is titled "Ron & Tammy: Part 2." Fuck yes. And at some point this season, Parker Posey guests. Fuck yesser. I'm hard pressed to think of a comedic actor who's a better fit for a P&R guest spot than her.

    it is hard to keep up with the shows that do not pop up on hulu the next day

    its always sunny has a 30 day wait period I think? even the ones that show up the next week I tend to forget about

    This season of the Office has been better than the last one. The Christmas episode was a glorious trainwreck.


    Soooooo excited for the return of Parks and Rec. And community. And 30 Rock.

    I am now finally finally caught up on the Office (the entire series), so I will actually watch the new episode THE DAY IT AIRS. HOORAY. Pretty excited.

    so is Parks & Recreation doing pretty good? I remember watching the first season but not diligently enough to really get into it. I thought it was very Office-y. Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime.
