My parents found this letter today, which was written by my sister when she was ten years old (so like 13 years ago):

    Me and my sister get along pretty well these days, but for the first 18 years we had epic fights.

    When she was like 14 and I was 17, my parents were on a two week vacation. I had a few people over and my sister lost it.

    So what does she do?

    Why, buys herself a train ticket to see her 18 year old random boyfriend whom we've never met in Montreal!

    (Montreal is far away)

    i had a bedazzler. and puffy paint. (it was actually my mom's since she is an elementary school teacher and loved arts and crafts but i used it anyway so there)

    my clothes were so fly

    and i love that letter. the "sincerely anna" made it so good

    man, someone posted an awesome 5 or 6 year old kid ranting at his parents letter in a thread around here a month ago and I thought it was hilarious (because it reminded me of my son) and wanted to show my wife but couldn't find what thread I had read it in when I came back later.

    My brother stole a little metal ball from one of those rolling ball games and so I stole one of his Simpsons Tazos and wrote a ransom note. It went something like, "IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE YOUR PRECIOUS SIMPSONS TAZO AGAIN, GIMME MY BALL!"

    I think my parents still have it somewhere.
